Looking Within & Finding Excellence

If You Wish To Move Mountains Tomorrow, You Must Start By Lifting Stones Today.” - African Proverb

Young Professionals often seek the answer on how to get ahead. They look around at leaders in their company or industry and wonder what the secret is. Leadership skills are honed over the years through experience and continuing education, especially if you own your own business. You never stop learning!

In the book Lead From Within, published by multiple authors in the Inner Circle, our members write about their stories as a leader and how they mastered skills such as: passion, drive, and opportunity champion.  These success traits are highlighted in their daily work and life as well!

So what about you, dear reader? Would you like to look within and find some amazing leadership traits? And when you do look within, also find the opportunity to be honest with yourself and work on growing other leadership traits such as communication, or drive or even finishing strong!

These are the types of professional development opportunities the Inner Circle offers our members and guests. Our summits are focused for leaders to gain knowledge, connections and community that they can build long- lasting relationships with. IN fact, Many of the authors from Lead From Within will be in attendance this year to meet and greet and make their own connections too.

Here are 3 queries you can ask yourself in order to begin this process of looking within:

  • Name 3 leaders you admire and describe them in a few sentences.

  • Think about those leaders and ask yourself which of their leadership traits would you like to grow into?

  • Write down 3-5 ways you can lead with integrity in the next few weeks. Take a look at your calendar and plan ahead - invite others to join you in this leadership challenge.
